Mental health disorders can disrupt your life, whether the disorder is yours, your child’s or another family member’s. Rosecrance provides caring, personalized and effective solutions for individuals and families living with mental health concerns, with the goal of changing lives and transitioning to a life with meaning, purpose and passion.

All services start with a mental health screening. Individuals are scheduled on a first-come, first-served basis except in emergency or crisis situations. Following the screening, we develop a treatment plan, look into and discuss financial arrangements, and create a follow-up assessment plan.

Getting started with residential mental health treatment for teens

To get started with our residential mental health program for teens, a parent or guardian should call 815-391-1000 to schedule a mental health screening. You can also start the process by visiting the Griffin Williamson Campus at 1601 N. University Drive in Rockford, Illinois.

During the screening, a licensed clinician will work with the family to determine if residential mental health treatment is the right path. From here, we develop a financial plan and a follow-up assessment, and we may also schedule your teen for an appointment with a licensed therapist.

Helping adults start down the road to recovery

Adults needing mental health services should call 815-391-1000 to schedule a mental health screening. The process can also be started by visiting the Rosecrance Ware Center at 2704 N. Main Street in Rockford or the Rosecrance Belvidere Clinic at 915 Alexandra Drive in Belvidere.

During the screening, a licensed clinician will work with the individual to develop a treatment plan. Services begin almost immediately. We can usually schedule the first treatment one to three business days after the screening.

We develop a financial plan and a follow-up assessment at that time, and we may also schedule you or your loved one for an appointment with a licensed psychiatrist.

Rosecrance also offers TMS (transcranial magnetic stimulation) therapy at Aspen Counseling & Consulting, L.L.C. TMS therapy is an FDA-approved therapy for depression.

When a child or adolescent needs mental health services, the parent or guardian should call 815-391-1000 to schedule a mental health screening.

During the screening, a licensed clinician will work with the family to develop a treatment plan. Services begin almost immediately. Typically, we’ll schedule the first treatment one to three business days after the screening.

At that time, we’ll also develop a financial plan and a follow-up assessment. You may also be scheduled for an appointment with a licensed psychiatrist.
