Rosecrance Griffin Williamson Campus
A therapeutic residential treatment space
Located on 50 scenic acres, the Rosecrance Griffin Williamson Campus for adults and teens includes an on-site school, a chapel, a gymnasium and fitness center, an outdoor dining patio, a conservatory and a peaceful healing garden.
Reminiscent of a mountain lodge with open-beam rafters, the view from the living space in each client wing is dominated by panoramic scenes of the Healing Garden and its natural stone waterfalls, large boulders, and a pond full of bass, bluegill, and dazzlingly colorful koi. Overlooking the Healing Garden from the second floor of the campus is the Ipsen Conservatory, a year-round, state-of-the-art facility designed to provide a space for horticultural therapy as part of Rosecrance’s therapeutic recreation program. The expansive grounds lend themselves to immersion in recreation and experiential therapies that are so important in a teen treatment curriculum.
The campus is conveniently located about an hour from Chicago O’Hare International Airport.

Specialized programming and clinical competencies
Rosecrance tailors its residential treatment curriculum to address the needs of our clients with specialized programming.
Mood disorders
For teens who have experienced multiple acute hospitalizations, and for whom outpatient treatment and other treatment hasn’t been successful, our mood disorder care helps clients and their families achieve stability and healing.
Our team uses evidence-based interventions such as dialectical behavior therapy (DBT) to help regulate emotions and cognitive behavior therapy (CBT) to help adolescents with increased symptoms of depression and anxiety develop coping skills.
Those are supported by additional successful interventions that include psychiatric support, a collaborative assessment and management of suicidality and self-harming behaviors, motivational interviewing, and transcranial magnetic stimulations (TMS) for treatment-resistant depression, when medically appropriate.
Mental health and co-occurring substance use disorders
When substance use and other mental health disorders disrupt a teen’s full development, there is no more skilled resource than Rosecrance to help families and their loved ones find healing and hope. Rosecrance leads the way in treating teens who face these challenges by providing intensive treatment based in 12-Step principles to guide clients and their families as they learn new skills and strategies to improve communication and social skills, learn healthy emotional regulation, improve interpersonal relationships, and foster increased self-awareness and mindfulness.
