David Gomel, Sr. Vice President and Chief Operating Officer for Rosecrance, has been awarded a Ph.D. in Public Policy and Administration from Walden University of Minneapolis, Minn.
Gomel, who has been with Rosecrance for 20 years, oversees operations at more than 40 Rosecrance sites. His doctoral studies were focused on non-profit administration. He also holds degrees from Northern Illinois University and the University of St. Francis. In addition, Gomel is a certified Alcohol and Other Drug Abuse (AODA) counselor.
Prior to becoming Rosecrance COO in 2011, Gomel served as the administrator at the Griffin Williamson Adolescent Treatment Center. He is active in the community as a volunteer for many charitable organizations, including Special Olympics and Make-A-Wish Foundation.
