Rosecrance leaders present at Illinois Psychiatric Society Annual Meeting

Three Rosecrance leaders shared insights at the 2022 Annual meeting of the Illinois Psychiatric Society October 8 in Oak Brook.

This year’s meeting highlighted innovations and technology impacting the field, with a focus on telemedicine and app-based resources. A presentation by Tom Wright, M.D., Chief of Clinical Excellence and President of Medical Affairs, and General Counsel Kelly Epperson, J.D., discussed updates and opportunities of telehealth legislation at the state and federal levels. In addition, Rosecrance Griffin Williamson Campus Medical Director Adrienne Adams, M.D., participated in a panel discussion on interviewing and contract negotiations.

Wright, who oversees all medical operations for Rosecrance, has over 20 years of experience in the field and is certified as a child and adolescent psychiatrist by the American Board of Psychiatry and Neurology. Dr. Wright is also certified in addiction medicine by the American Society of Addiction Medicine.

Epperson is the first-ever in-house general counsel for Rosecrance. She has extensive experience representing physicians, hospitals and behavioral health providers. Epperson provides comprehensive legal services to Rosecrance.

Adams oversees clinical treatment and care at the Rosecrance Griffin Williamson Campus for adolescents. She has over 15 years of experience in clinical care, administration, and education.
