Mental Health Housing
The Rosecrance Community housing program offers a crucial lifeline for people with serious mental illness by providing stable housing and essential support services, contributing significantly to an individual’s well-being and recovery. Having a safe and secure place to live and supportive case management services help clients reduce stress and improve overall health by managing symptoms and following treatment recommendations.

Housing that’s stable and supportive
Rosecrance’s community mental health housing team oversees care for adults with serious mental illness. Services include case management, psychiatry, and medication management, as well as outreach for everything from job training to primary healthcare to daily life skills. Some services are provided 24 hours a day, seven days a week, while others are delivered through case management on a weekly or monthly basis.
Services fall into the following categories based on need:
- Supported Housing
- Shelter Plus Care
- Veteran Housing
- Supervised Housing, also known as Community Integrated Living Arrangement (CILA)
- Projects for Assistance in Transition for Homelessness (PATH)
Partnerships for these services include Medicaid, Medicaid managed care, the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD), and the U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs.
