Rosecrance Sober Living Programs

Sober Living Treatment Programs

Rosecrance Living programs are structured residential settings that provide support and guidance to people in early recovery from substance use disorders. Sober living homes offer a safe and drug-free environment where residents can learn to live a sober lifestyle and develop the skills that they need to maintain long-term recovery.

Services within this program

Rosecrance sober living programs focus on day-to-day recovery support through structured living, life skills groups, and individual work with recovery coaches. Residents engage in services such as:

  • Life skills groups that support daily living and healthy routines
  • Individual meetings with recovery coaches for personalized guidance
  • Supportive, drug-free housing that reinforces sobriety and accountability

When additional clinical or specialty services are needed, we help clients easily connect to the broader Rosecrance continuum, including:

Providing structure and support

Rosecrance programs are designed as transitional living environments that offer more structure at the beginning and greater autonomy as clients progress over time. Throughout a typical six-to-nine-month stay—with up to one year recommended for the best outcomes—clients move through clearly defined phases of support.

Key elements include:

  • An individualized recovery plan, a structured daily schedule with staff support, and regular participation in life skills and recovery-focused groups (including 12-Step or similar meetings)
  • A phased increase in independence, with added privileges and opportunities, leading into a transitional period that balances time on-site with time in a next-step living environment (such as a family or marital home, or a new apartment)
  • Ongoing practice of core recovery skills, including establishing a healthy routine, using positive coping tools, managing finances, preparing for employment, building and maintaining healthy relationships, engaging in healthy living, and focusing on relapse prevention

Our programs meet people where they are in life, offering compassionate care and structured support tailored to each client’s age, goals, and stage of recovery.
