Rosecrance receives generous support for expansion in central Illinois

Christie Foundation members presented Rosecrance leaders and supporters with a check at Rosecrance on Moreland June 20, 2019 to help support the recent expansion in central Illinois.

The Christie Foundation presented a generous grant to Rosecrance on June 20, 2019, to support the recent expansion in central Illinois. In total, generous donors have contributed over $553,000 to achieve 55 percent of the campaign goal to support Rosecrance on Moreland.

Rosecrance on Moreland opened its doors at the start of 2019. The facility serves as a Center for Recovery by providing integrated services for young adults and adults seeking treatment for substance use disorders. With adult residential services, outpatient treatment, and the only licensed recovery home in central Illinois, Rosecrance on Moreland provides a healing and nurturing environment to young adults and adults from the community and across central Illinois who are struggling with addiction.

Prairie Behavioral Health Foundation, a partner of Prairie Center, who merged with Rosecrance in 2018, made the first gift of support to the Rosecrance on Moreland campaign. Other supporters of the campaign include Carle Foundation, Hanley Foundation, Foglia Family Foundation, Busey Bank, and many generous individual donors.

“We are so grateful for these generous gifts and support; these donors make it possible for Rosecrance to provide an environment of excellence, dignity and hope, and bring healing to more individuals and families who need it,” says Rosecrance Vice President of Communication and Development, Anne Boccignone. “The lives of our clients will be forever changed.”

Rosecrance continues to raise funds to support this important project, which will bring hope to so many. Philanthropic support will provide capital funds for the renovation and furnishings of the new facility.
