Beginning March 1, Rosecrance McHenry County will offer a DUI evaluation program at its Crystal Lake facility.
The program will be 9 a.m.-1 p.m. each Tuesday and Thursday at 422 Tracy Court, Crystal Lake. Appointments must be scheduled in advance, as walk-ins are not available for DUI evaluations.
In Illinois, anyone arrested for driving under the influence of alcohol and/or other drugs (DUI) must undergo an alcohol and drug evaluation before sentencing can occur for the DUI offense or before restricted or full driving privileges can be granted by the Office of the Secretary of State. Rosecrance Crystal Lake DUI evaluators are licensed and regulated by the Illinois Department of Human Services, Division of Alcoholism and Substance Abuse and meet standards prescribed by the Department and complete additional training annually.
