Rosecrance Health Network announces National Search for Regional President

Rosecrance Health Network has announced the launch of a national search for the position of Regional President, Rosecrance Jackson Centers. The search process, which has just begun, will evaluate qualified candidates from across the country who demonstrate strong leadership and experience in the field of residential and outpatient addiction treatment management.

Current regional president, Kermit Dahlen, has announced his plan to retire in March, 2020, after a long and respected career in the treatment of substance use disorders.

“Rosecrance Jackson Centers is not seeking to replace Kermit Dahlen the individual,” said Rosecrance Health Network President/CEO Philip W. Eaton. “Kermit’s legacy is irreplaceable. What we will seek is a servant leader who is committed to evidence-based best practices and ensuring the highest quality of behavioral health care for the Siouxland region.”

Under Dahlen’s leadership, the former Jackson Recovery Centers grew from a 20-bed adolescent facility to Iowa’s largest comprehensive treatment program for adult and youth substance use disorders. His retirement will signal the conclusion of a 40 year career in addiction treatment services. Public and private celebrations of Kermit Dahlen’s career will be announced at a later date.

Eaton indicated a January 1 target date to identify the new regional president.
