Rosecrance Director accepts Women of Achievements Award at YWCA Leader Luncheon

two women accepting award at Rosecrance eventKristin Hamblock, Rosecrance Director of Compensation & Benefits, recently accepted a Women of Achievements award at the YWCA Leader Luncheon in the 2019 Promise Award category. The Promise Award is given to young women between the ages of 18 and 35. The award celebrates an individual with sufficient community service and professional success to indicate her potential for extraordinary leadership and service.

Since joining Rosecrance in 2010, Kristin has focused her talents on streamlining and improving the employee experience for the organization’s workforce of approximately 1,300. Kristin holds a Master of Business Administration and a Bachelor of Science in Psychology from Northern Illinois University. Additionally, Kristin is pursuing her Ph.D. in Management with a focus on Leadership and Organizational Change through Walden University. She also serves as a Director of the Operating Board for Northern Illinois Hospice, the President-elect for the Junior League of Rockford, and Board member for Santa’s for Solitary Seniors.

The annual luncheon recognizes the accomplishments of local women who are committed to the promoting positive change in the community. Kimberla Lawson Roby, Rockford-born New York Times best-selling author, presented the event’s keynote this year, encouraging women to never give up on their dreams.
