Rockford Register Star award recognizes Rosecrance as Best Overall Leader among large, local organizations

Rosecrance recently received a What Rocks Award from Rockford Register Star in the category of Best Overall Leadership among large organizations in the Rock River Valley region.

Now in its 20th year, the What Rocks competition takes place annually to determine the best business in Rock River Valley. There are nearly 200 categories in arts and entertainment, food and drinks, goods and services, health, recreation and fitness, and more. From the more than 20,000 businesses in Rockford-area, the top three nominees are selected in each category.

An award ceremony was held on November 1, 2018, at Cliffbreakers Event and Conference Center to recognize the winners. Rosecrance has been an influential organization, dedicated to saving and changing lives in the region for more than a century.

“We are proud of this award, which serves as a testament to all of our incredible leaders here at Rosecrance,” says David Gomel, President of Rosecrance Inc.

“With more than 1,000 employees, Rosecrance has a wonderful leadership team committed to serving all of our team members, our mission and core values,” adds Gomel. “Our leaders are truly the heart of Rosecrance, supporting and encouraging our teams, which allows us to offer our clients the best possible care.”
