In the Monday, Jan. 7 edition of the Rockford Register Star, reporter Melissa Westphal reports on Rosecrance’s plans to renovate the fourth floor of its downtown Ware Center to accommodate mental health patients:
“The space would have the capacity for 16 beds under the designation of community-based housing. It would house a voluntary, short-term residential program for people experiencing behavioral health crises who don’t need inpatient hospitalization but do need stabilization and 24-hour supervision.”
