Rosecrance’s Community Relations Personnel

At Rosecrance, we understand that you have questions…and need answers. Having a specific contact person with whom you can work is important in building a relationship. Our community relations team is here to assist you with information about our programs and services, scheduling an assessment, contacting other resources, and navigating your client’s progress.

The Rosecrance community relations team consists of individuals skilled in:

  • Communicating with families in crisis
  • Finding referral sources within your community
  • Gathering information that may assist you in better serving your client
  • Providing training/education in topics of interest
  • Conducting family education workshops

Janis Waddell, MS, CSADC

Sr. Vice President of Marketing and Chief Business Development Officer

Janis Waddell oversees all local, regional and national marketing efforts for the organization, including working with private and public-sector referral sources. She has more than 30 years’ experience in the addictions field, including 10 years of providing direct clinical services to adolescents. She earned her bachelor’s degree in education from Western Illinois University and a master’s degree in counseling/education from Northern Illinois University. Waddell’s areas of expertise include behavioral healthcare marketing, insurance managed care contracting, adolescent and adult substance abuse treatment, and current trends. She joined Rosecrance in 1984.

Sherri Ausherman, MHA

Community Relations Coordinator

Sherri Ausherman is the Community Relations Coordinator for Winnebago, Boone, Stephenson, and LaSalle counties. She earned a master’s degree in healthcare administration from University of Phoenix and has over 18 years of experience in the healthcare field in Illinois. Sherri is passionate about developing long-lasting professional relationships, support, and education on behalf of Rosecrance. She strives to bring the proper tools and awareness to mental health and substance use by reaching out to local leaders, businesses, and organizations.

Diana Belicke

Community Relations Coordinator

Diana Belicke is the Community Relations Coordinator for McHenry County. She earned a bachelor’s degree in marketing from Roosevelt University Chicago and has over seven years of experience working in the behavioral health field in Illinois. Diana truly enjoys the consultative approach in working with healthcare professionals within hospitals, physician groups, skilled nursing facilities, behavioral health facilities, and academic institutions, while connecting with the patients and families they serve. Diana has been compassionately helping professionals, individuals, and families make decisions for the right services for the best outcomes.

Mary Egan, MA, CADCPhoto of Mary Egan

Director of Outreach

Mary Egan manages the assessment and outreach efforts in the Rosecrance Chicagoland offices including Warrenville, Northbrook, Frankfort, Oak Park, LaGrange and Lakeview. She oversees the clinical intake of the Chicagoland offices and performs marketing, outreach, and communications with individuals, families, schools, hospitals and other referral sources. She speaks to professionals and parents on the topics of drug trends, parental influence and adolescent addiction.

Egan previously held a position as a student assistance program coordinator at a local high school for 17 years where she developed the school’s Student Assistance Program; counseled students, parents and staff on youth substance issues; conducted support groups for students; and provided training for the school community on substance abuse and related issues. With over 25 years’ experience working in the substance abuse field, Egan is committed to helping teens, adults and families access resources for a healthy life. She joined Rosecrance in 2008.

Egan holds a master of arts degree from the University of Illinois at Springfield, a bachelor of science degree in alcohol education, and a bachelor of arts degree in psychology from Quincy University. She is also a Certified Alcohol and Drug Counselor. Egan has received several recognition awards, including the Award for Community Excellence from the Oak Lawn Community Partnership, the Partnership Award for Excellence from the Partnership for a Safe and Drug Free Community and the Illinois P.T.A. Distinguished Service Scroll.

Tom Farley

Community Relations Coordinator

Tom Farley is the Community Relations Coordinator responsible for arranging community activities and developing business relationships in southern Wisconsin. He manages strategic relationships with local and regional referral sources and works in the community to raise awareness about addiction and mental health. Tom has a marketing degree from Georgetown University. Prior to joining Rosecrance, he ran the Chris Farley Foundation, a nonprofit dedicated to substance use prevention. He also served on the Dane County Human Services Board. In addition, Tom is a nationally known advocate for prevention, treatment, and recovery.

National Referral Relations Coordinator

Jennifer Hahs is the National Referral Relations Coordinator for Rosecrance and is based out of the Frankfort office. Jennifer earned a Bachelor of Science Degree in Pre-Professional Psychology and Master of Arts Degree in Counseling Psychology from Ball State University. She has worked in residential treatment for numerous years at both adolescent and adult treatment facilities, as well as with women and children at a crisis center for domestic violence. She has clinical and administrative experience, knowledge of policy and procedure within residential treatment, and holds years of experience in working with referral sources. Jennifer is passionate about connecting adults, adolescents, and families with the resources they need for help, hope, and lasting recovery.

Michelle Hibbard

Community Relations Coordinator

Michelle Hibbard is the Community Relations Coordinator for Rosecrance Central Illinois, covering nine counties, including Rosecrance locations in Champaign and Danville. Hibbard was born and raised in central Illinois and earned her bachelor’s degree at the University of Illinois in liberal arts and sciences and speech communication. She has done business outreach, education, and marketing for over 20 years, including nearly a decade in behavioral health before coming to Rosecrance. Michelle enjoys connecting with people and developing relationships with individuals and community organizations. She was drawn to Rosecrance’s important, long-standing work as a behavioral healthcare leader for clients and families seeking help for mental health and substance use.

Matthew Quinn, MA, LCPC, CADC

Director of Chicagoland

Matthew Quinn leads all clinical components of Rosecrance, Inc.’s outpatient clinics and recovery homes in the Chicago area as Rosecrance’s Director of Chicagoland. Previously, he served as a Community Relations Coordinator in DuPage, Kane, and Kendall counties. He is a member of the Community Alliance for Prevention in Naperville, the Juvenile Justice Council in Kane County, and a consultant for the Connect For Life program through the Naperville Police Department. Quinn joined Rosecrance as an outreach counselor in 2015. He led the Parent Café parent support group, conducted regular prevention and early intervention (PEI) classes, and conducted substance use assessments in the Naperville office prior to moving into a community relations role. He completed his bachelor’s degree in psychology at the University of Notre Dame and his master’s degree in clinical psychology at the Illinois School of Professional Psychology. Quinn is a Licensed Clinical Professional Counselor and Certified Alcohol and Drug Counselor in Illinois. He was the program coordinator for the adolescent intensive outpatient program (IOP) at Linden Oaks at Elmhurst for 8 years prior to coming to Rosecrance. Previously, Quinn had been a therapeutic mentor for troubled teens and a member advocate for an employee assistance program (EAP). He has been counseling adolescents and adults in individual, couples, and family counseling for the past 15 years.

Mike Reynolds, BA, CADC

Community Relations Coordinator

Mike Reynolds, BA, CADC is the Community Relations Coordinator for Rosecrance Jackson Centers. He received his Bachelor of Arts degree in human relations and management from Doane College in 1990.  Mike currently holds his CADC certification in the state of Iowa. Mike was most recently a program manager for Jackson Recovery Centers. He has worked in the field of substance use disorders and mental health since 1979, serving in various capacities.

Becky Sadler

Community Relations Coordinator

Becky Sadler is the Community Relations Coordinator for DuPage, Kane and Kendall counties. She has over 11 years of experience working in the behavioral health field in Illinois. Becky earned a bachelor’s degree in marketing from Saint Joseph’s College in Rensselaer Indiana. She is dedicated to maintaining and developing new professional relationships to help connect individuals to quality levels of care. She also is passionate about helping families in the community gain access and navigate the behavioral health system. Becky is extremely grateful to work with the community to help individuals find lasting recovery.

Andrea Shales

Community Relations Coordinator

Andrea Shales is the Community Relations Coordinator for Lake and northern Cook counties. She earned a bachelor’s degree in business management with a minor in social work from National Louis University. Andrea has more than two decades of experience in healthcare marketing and outreach, working directly with hospitals, community groups, and behavioral health organizations to develop long-lasting professional relationships. She is passionate about connecting adults, adolescents, and families with resources they need for lasting recovery, and she strives to bring awareness of mental health and substance use by partnering with local leaders, businesses, and organizations that offer support and education. Andrea is a member of several Lake County task forces that focus on prevention and awareness.

Allison Thomas

Community Relations Coordinator

Allison Thomas is the Community Relations Coordinator for South Cook, Will, Grundy, and Kankakee counties. Allison earned a bachelor’s degree in management from Purdue University and has over 20 years of experience in marketing and communications, including nearly eight years in behavioral health marketing in Illinois. She enjoys building and maintaining professional relationships based on strong communication and mutual trust and is passionate about connecting individuals in need of treatment to quality programs. Allison is proud to partner with the community on behalf of Rosecrance to provide hope and lasting recovery to people in need.
