Rosecrance receives grant from Meijer in Mokena
Store employees worked together to research, nominate, and vote on a local nonprofit to receive a onetime donation.
Rosecrance is pleased to announce that the organization received a $5,000 grant from the Mokena Meijer through its Meijer Team Gives program. The funds will be used to strengthen services at the Rosecrance Frankfort outpatient center.
Store employees worked together to research, nominate, and vote on a local nonprofit to receive a onetime donation and chose to contribute to the Rosecrance Foundation for the benefit of the Rosecrance Frankfort location.
“As a family-owned company, Meijer is committed to enriching lives in the communities we serve,” said Bill Shear, store director of the Mokena Meijer. “If the last few years have taught us anything, it’s that supporting the health of our communities is vital. We chose to support Rosecrance because we can see the impact they are making in our community every day.”
“We are incredibly grateful to be recognized by the staff at Meijer,” said Rosecrance Foundation Executive Director Sally Draper. “Their contribution will help Rosecrance continue to provide behavioral health services that make a difference in many lives in the region.”
