Rosecrance announces new leader for Griffin Williamson campus

Lynde is responsible for an 80-bed treatment center for adolescents ages 12-20.

Rosecrance has appointed Denita Lynde as the new Administrator of the Rosecrance Griffin Williamson (RGW) campus.

At RGW, Lynde is responsible for an 80-bed treatment center for adolescents ages 12-20. Staff provide residential treatment, with programs for substance abuse and mental health treatment, as well as detoxification and partial hospitalization. RGW also includes an on-site school, chapel, gym and fitness center.

She shifts from her former position as the Rosecrance housing director, where she was responsible for Hillman House for boys, Marlowe House for girls, and Greendale House for adults and women with children. These facilities serve patients who have completed primary substance abuse treatment.

Lynde began her career at Rosecrance on Alpine and transitioned to Griffin Williamson when the facility opened in 2003. She served in multiple direct care and leadership positions within the organization. Lynde is a Certified Alcohol and Drug Abuse Counselor (CADC) with a psychology degree from Northern Illinois University. She serves on the Illinois Task Force on Women’s Issues in Treatment.
