Rosecrance Mulberry Center
The Rosecrance Mulberry Center combines two linked services—triage and short-term crisis residential—under one roof. These services provide an immediate response to individuals experiencing a psychiatric crisis.
The Rosecrance Mulberry Center aims to help individuals in crisis avoid unnecessary hospitalization or incarceration by providing rapid assessment, stabilization, and referral to the appropriate level of care. While many triage clients go home with connection to community-based outpatient services, others are referred for hospitalization and many transition to a short-term placement within crisis residential services.
Triage services includes crisis intervention, screening, evaluations, and linkage to treatment and community referrals. Crisis residential services include educational groups and individual counseling, psychiatric services, mental health education, symptom management, coping skills, medication management, case management, and discharge planning.
