Rosecrance Jackson Centers Adolescent Diversion Class
Youth learn how to reduce the risk of alcohol- and drug-related problems throughout their lives.
Diversion Class Description
This FREE eight-hour, evidence-based motivational intervention and pre-treatment program educates individuals regarding high-risk choices. It is designed to decrease drinking and drug use behaviors of youth and young adults by changing beliefs, attitudes, risk perceptions, and motivations. Youth learn how to reduce the risk of alcohol- and drug-related problems throughout their lives.
Guidelines for Successful Course Completion
- Register for the desired course at least one week ahead of time to ensure there is enough time to acquire the textbook.
- A textbook and writing utensil are required for class. Pick up a textbook at the nearest Rosecrance Jackson Center office. Hours vary at each office. Please call ahead to schedule a pickup time.
- Be prepared for the Zoom sessions by using a computer with a working microphone and camera. Do not use a phone. You are required to have your camera on for this course. Inappropriate language or behavior will not be tolerated.
