Programs for Veterans

The needs of veterans can be quite distinct from those the general population faces: Veteran-specific experiences include exposure to combat, long-term separation from family, and readjusting to civilian life.

Within the veteran community, Rosecrance has built a reputation of trust through our demonstrated ability to provide high-quality care specifically for you.

Treatment specifically for Veterans

Our specialized programming directly addresses occupational factors and traumas in the treatment experience, along with peer support, individual, group, and family counseling, medication-assisted treatment, and deep inclusion of therapeutic recreation.

These targeted treatments support the development of coping and recovery skills, which improve the potential effectiveness and outcomes of our programs.

Family is important
for treatment

Veterans’ families are essential to the success of our clients. We emphasize the benefits of including family members in the treatment process through updates, education, support, and help.

Veterans in our care can access weekly virtual visitation sessions with family members to maintain connection, and loved ones are included in family counseling sessions.

As a veteran, I know how returning to civilian life can be
a tough adjustment for many people. It is gratifying to see
our commitment to those
who serve evolve through key relationships to meet more needs.
