Rosecrance Harrison Campus Medical Director Dr. Raymond Garcia was honored by the American Psychiatric Association for his work in the classroom.
Dr. Garcia received a 2020 Nancy C.A. Roeske, M.D., Certificate of Recognition for Excellence in Medical Education to celebrate two-plus decades on the University of Illinois College of Medicine Rockford faculty. He joined Rosecrance in 2009 and has been Board Certified in psychiatry and neurology since 1999. He is licensed in Illinois and is a member of the Illinois Psychiatric Society and the APA. In addition, Dr. Garcia has received multiple awards for education excellence.
