New clinics bring hope to more communities in 2022

The addition of five clinics will position the organization to offer hope to more people in the Midwest.

To meet a growing need for outpatient care, Rosecrance is expanding services in northern Illinois and Wisconsin this year. The addition of five clinics will position the organization to offer hope to more people in the Midwest.

“Even before the pandemic, we knew more people were looking for mental health resources, and the need has skyrocketed since then,” said Leah Scanlan, Rosecrance Regional Director of Behavioral Clinics. “With our expertise in behavioral health, strengthening these clinics is the next step toward helping the whole community.”

Rosecrance’s new multi-specialty clinic in the Milwaukee area will primarily focus on individual and family counseling for mental health treatment, and be a resource similar to Rosecrance affiliates Aspen Counseling and Consulting in Rockford and Connections Counseling in Madison, which provide a broad spectrum of care for behavioral health needs.

Outpatient clinic growth in Chicagoland includes a new Warrenville office, which will offer substance use and mental health outpatient treatment for teens and adults, with a particular emphasis on young adults. A new location in the city of Chicago will also open this year to join a network of Rosecrance clinics in Des Plaines, Frankfort, Northbrook, and La Grange, in addition to the Rosecrance Lakeview sober living facility in Chicago.

In Northern and West Central Illinois, clinics in Freeport and Moline will offer substance use and mental health treatment to reach new communities in the Rosecrance network. They will work closely with Rosecrance’s established programs in Rockford and Davenport, Iowa.

Communities will also gain a professional workforce in behavioral healthcare, as clinical staff will be added to meet the needs at each location. Rosecrance employees benefit from a supportive leadership team and opportunities for personal and career growth.

“This network allows us to treat anyone, regardless of how acute their diagnosis might be,” said Matthew Quinn, Regional Director of Chicagoland Services. “Because of Rosecrance’s comprehensive continuum of care, we can provide what clients need and adjust over time. Staying with the same provider gives them a better chance at lasting recovery.”
