Save the date for April 30 IASAP Conference in Oak Brook

Rosecrance will have an exhibit at the 20th Annual Illinois Association of Student Assistance Professionals Conference, which will be held from 8:15 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. Tuesday, April 30, at the Chicago Marriott Oak Brook. Stop by and learn what services Rosecrance can provide to your school district.

The conference will address concepts that have an impact on students and the people who work with them. Workshops will include:

  • “No Matter What Happens in Your Life … You Are Your Choices.” Daniel R. Davison, a survivor of abuse and a drug environment, talks about his journey.
  • “The Real Deal — Bullying: School-based Interventions.” Ron Glodoski will deliver this interactive presentation aimed at professionals who work with youth.
  • “Is Your School Safe? Creating a Culture of Safety.” SAP Coordinator Miriam Wade-Hicks and SRO Bob Uliks present tools and ideas to ensure schools are a safe and healthy environment for their students.
