Rosecrance is Iowa’s largest addiction treatment provider, helping more than 7,000 teens and adults each year find hope through robust individualized treatment plans that help them develop essential tools and build positive relationships. The Rosecrance Jackson Centers residential campus and our outpatient clinics across Iowa provide outcomes-based programs with a foundation of evidence-based best practices to ensure that we are using the most supportive methods available in offering clients the best opportunity for lasting recovery.

Our outpatient treatment clinics offer people in Iowa the convenience of multiple locations: downtown Sioux City, Cherokee, Davenport, Le Mars, Spencer and Sheldon. Rosecrance in Iowa serves clients from across Iowa, Nebraska, South Dakota, Minnesota, and beyond.

Rosecrance offers adolescent and adult alcohol and drug assessments, including screening for co-occurring mental and physical health. Additionally, we provide specialty services for children in mental health crisis, treatment for process addictions, medical and psychiatric services, OWI/DUI assessments, consultations, and daily walk-in appointments.

The Women and Children’s program provides residential care for pregnant women and women with children so that women can live with their children and attend treatment programming.

We are proud to be an approved provider through the Veterans Affairs Community Care Network (VA-CCN) to support veterans and reduce the financial barriers for the lifesaving care Rosecrance provides. Rosecrance Jackson Centers traces its beginning to 1976. At the time, the Siouxland region had addiction treatment options for adults, but lacked specific services for adolescents. Founders Dr. Bill and Marienne Jackson saw an opportunity to bridge the gap in care. Services grew over the next two decades through community affiliations and expansion to locations throughout western Iowa.

The next decades saw continued growth in treatment services, as the organization began offering inpatient adult treatment, enhanced the continuum of recovery for women with children, and launched specialized treatment for professionals with addictions.

In 2015, the Rosecrance Jackson Centers residential treatment campus opened, offering a beautiful center for recovery on sprawling land near the Missouri River.

In 2019, Jackson Recovery Centers affiliated with Rosecrance Health Network to become Rosecrance Jackson Centers; the nonprofit organization now provides an even stronger continuum of care with the depth of resources from a parent organization with a 100-year history and more than 60 locations in Iowa, Illinois, and Wisconsin.
